Ty is the Managing Principal of THE HOLT GROUP LLC, Attorneys & Counselors at Law and the founder and Principal of WESTERN NEUTRAL SERVICES LLC, in Denver, Colorado.
Ty has over forty years of experience as a: commercial and construction transaction lawyer; commercial and construction trial attorney; and thirty years of experience as a commercial and construction mediator and arbitrator. Ty is listed in the “Red Book” and serves as co-bond counsel for several governmental clients and a number of higher education institutions.
Ty’s clients include owners, general contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, design professionals, construction/program managers, insurers and sureties. He serves as a "first chair" trial and counseling attorney for many clients. His experience extends from the simple to the most complex multi-party disputes. He practices in the Federal and State trial and appellate courts; before various federal, state and local agencies and administrative claims tribunals. Mr. Holt also has extensive experience with arbitrations, mediations and other customized ADR procedures. He frequently serves as "local trial counsel" for clients with complex construction disputes.
Ty is a frequent speaker at local, regional and national educational programs for organizations such as the American Bar Association, American Arbitration Association, Design Build Institute of America and College of Commercial Arbitrators, Practicing Law Institute and various state bar associations.

He served as law clerk to the Honorable Preston Devine of the California Court of Appeals in 1974.
